While most clubs are focused on the pitch, there won’t be many teams that put in as much effort into the social side of the game as today’s getting to know, Earlsfield FC.
A club founded before the 2017/18 season, the aim of the club like every other team was to become a well run, successful amateur club, however they also wanted to build a club with the idea of players becoming good mates and sharing their passion for the game with the idea that “If players are going to pay to play, then they should be provided with the best experience possible for them.”
Nicknamed “The Crowns”, the club is looking to get themselves out of the Wimbledon and District League, something that they are well on their way to do, acheiving promotion this year in what is only their second season.
Earlsfield are currently sat in second in the league, however have one game in hand remaining , a game that if they win will see them win the division.
From everyone here at ClimbingTheLadder we would just like to wish ‘The Crowns’ all the best for their remaining game and hopefully a trophy is on the cards! #Earlsfield
